Bridge Contest
The Yuba College Engineering Department and the Yuba City Rotary is pleased to present
The Fifth Annual Bridge Competition.
This year’s event will take place at Yuba College Student Multipurpose Room on Thursday, April 26th, 2012: 6:00pm—8:30pm
- The competition is open to all Local High School students and Yuba College students:
- The bridges are to be constructed entirely out of balsa wood and carpenter’s glue.
- The bridges will be judged on maximum applied force (model weight) and innovativeness-aesthetics of design. An entry must meet all the rules in order to be eligible.
Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st place……… $400.00
2nd place………$200.00
3rd place……….$100.00 |
