Yuba-Sutter Transit offers safe, reliable, frequent, inexpensive and
accessible fixed route bus service to the Yuba College Campus in Linda
from throughout the urbanized area. Three of Yuba-Sutter Transit’s six
local routes originate from the Yuba College Terminal in the middle of
the campus with arrival and departure times that are specifically
designed around the campus schedule. With no more than one transfer,
students can reach the campus from virtually anywhere in Linda,
Olivehurst, Marysville or Yuba City.

Dial-A-Ride service is also available for eligible seniors (age 62 and
over) and persons with disabilities. Limited non-direct service from
Live Oak, Wheatland and many of the Yuba County Foothill communities
is also available.

Direct local fixed route service is not yet available to the Sutter
County Center, but the nearest bus stop is on Route 2 about a mile and
a half away at Northgate Drive and Gray Avenue for those who choose to
walk or ride a bike. The Sutter County Campus is within the
Yuba-Sutter Transit’s Dial-A-Ride service boundary for eligible
seniors and persons with disabilities.

The local fixed route system operates on weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to
6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dial-A-Ride
service is available during the same hours for seniors and persons
with disabilities, but it is also open to all passengers without
restriction on weekday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. All buses
are equipped with bike racks and wheelchair lifts or ramps. No
service is available on Sundays or major holidays.

The cash fare for the local fixed route service is $1.00 each way
($0.50 for seniors, youth ages 5 to 12 and persons with disabilities).
Transfers between routes and children under 5 are free. More
frequent passengers can enjoy unlimited access to the local fixed
route system by purchasing a monthly pass for just $30 a month ($15
for seniors and persons with disabilities and just $5 for youth ages 5
to 18). Dial-A-Ride fares are $2.00 each way for seniors and persons
with disabilities and the weekday evening Dial-A-Ride fares are $3.00
for the general public and $1.50 for seniors, youth (5 – 12) and
persons with disabilities. Monthly passes are not available for the
Dial-A-Ride service.
