Most Outstanding Female Athlete<\/h3>\n

\"Citlali
\nCitlalli Fernandez awarded Most Outstanding Female Athlete, had an amazing year for the 49ers Track & Field team. Her improvement through two shortened seasons was unmatched. With only 8 total meet\u2019s (basically 1\/2 of one season) she improved over 40\u2019 in the Hammer.<\/p>\n

\"Citlali<\/p>\n

She was the #1 Hammer thrower in the State (JC) and will be transferring to CSU Chico (as a freshman) and should walk in and break their school record on day one!<\/p>\n

Most Outstanding Male Athlete<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"Tommy<\/p>\n

The Most Outstanding Male Athlete, Tommy Smith, out of Rocklin High School, is one of two sophomores on the Yuba College Baseball roster. In the 2021 season, he was among the conference pitching leaders while also showing great leadership for his team. Tommy completed his AA degree with a 3.65 gpa.<\/span><\/p>\n

His unwavering commitment to Yuba College baseball, on and off the field, has earned him a Scholarship to Salem University in West Virginia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most Inspirational Athlete<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"Corinne<\/p>\n

Corinne Belser of Yuba Softball named this year’s Most Inspirational Athlete. She is a Journalism major transferring to Chico State this coming Fall 2021. Corinne pitched and played infield in 2018 and 2021. For Corinne to play softball and reach her academic goals, she has overcome many personal obstacles. <\/span><\/p>\n
