Although every effort has been made to ensure this document is accurate and up to date errors do occur.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, to this articulation grid Yuba College may consider Sierra College and American River College\u2019s grids as well. For <a href=\"https:\/\/academics.sierracollege.edu\/registered-nursing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sierra College<\/a> (on their website go to Prerequisites to Apply section then the Equivalency Grid) for <a href=\"https:\/\/arc.losrios.edu\/academics\/health-and-education-division-office\/nursing-and-allied-health-program\/nursing-general-information\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American River College<\/a> (on their website scroll down to the most current Articulation Grid). To be considered see a Yuba College Counselor to determine if a petition is needed.<\/p>\n<p>The Nursing Program office does <strong>not <\/strong>complete prerequisite course evaluations. If you have taken a prerequisite course outside of Yuba College, see a <a href=\"https:\/\/yc.yccd.edu\/student\/counseling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yuba College counselor<\/a> to get an Ed Plan to ensure the courses are equivalent and meet the prerequisites for our nursing program. If you are using upper division courses for any prerequisites, it is mandatory to contact a Yuba College academic counselor to review the process for a possible course substitution.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">Combination Courses<\/h2>\n<p>Are you needing to enter combination course? The grid below shows some possible examples. The courses list with &amp; need to be split on your application. In the processing of your application our Admissions and Records team will ensure the total GPA is calculated correctly based on the units and semester verse quarter systems. tool as we only accept whole grades<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">CLEP and AP Examinations<\/h2>\n<div>The Yuba College Nursing Program accepts CLEP and AP exams. They must be <strong>posted<\/strong> to your Yuba College transcripts to be utilized in your nursing program application. The score(s) must be sent to Yuba College through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collegeboard.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">College Board<\/a>. It is the applicant\u2019s responsibility to send the scores to Yuba College and to ensure they are showing on their Yuba College transcripts before they can be utilized in the nursing program application.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>College-Level Examinations Placement (CLEP) Examinations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your course name and units will show on your Yuba College transcript once you complete the process.
