As part of this process, you must <strong data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"513\">disclose any and all misdemeanor or felony charges or convictions<\/strong>, regardless of adjudication, age, or time passed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"891\">It is strongly advised that any applicant with a criminal history complete the <strong data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"677\">Ethics Review Pre-Application<\/strong> process through the <strong data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"754\">American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)<\/strong> prior to applying to the program. This process helps determine whether a violation may affect your eligibility for future certification.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"1029\">\ud83d\udd17 <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arrt.org\/docs\/default-source\/ethics\/ethics-review-preapplication.pdf?sfvrsn=42\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"1029\">ARRT Ethics Review Pre-Application Form<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"16ftxly\" data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1066\">\u26a0\ufe0f Important Legal Disclaimers:<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1938\">\n<li data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1367\">\n<p data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1367\"><strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1152\">ARRT approval does not guarantee program completion or clinical site placement.<\/strong><br data-start=\"1152\" data-end=\"1155\" \/>Even if the ARRT accepts your ethics review and permits you to sit for the certification exam, <strong data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1309\">our clinical education sites may still deny placement<\/strong> based on their independent background screening policies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1733\">\n<p data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1733\"><strong data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1437\">Yuba College maintains binding clinical affiliation agreements<\/strong> with its partnered healthcare facilities. If any clinical site refuses your placement due to background check findings\u2014including past or pending misdemeanor or felony charges\u2014you will be <strong data-start=\"1625\" data-end=\"1674\">ineligible to complete the clinical component<\/strong> of the program and will be <strong data-start=\"1702\" data-end=\"1715\">dismissed<\/strong> from the program.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1735\" data-end=\"1938\">\n<p data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1938\"><strong data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1849\">Any criminal charges (felony or misdemeanor) incurred during enrollment in the Radiologic Technology Program<\/strong> will result in <strong data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"1888\">immediate dismissal<\/strong>, pending review and without guarantee of reentry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1940\" data-end=\"1943\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1wb6b0w\" data-start=\"1945\" data-end=\"1966\">\u2705 Recommendation:<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"2016\">If you have <strong data-start=\"1979\" data-end=\"2005\">any prior legal issues<\/strong>, you must:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2017\" data-end=\"2292\">\n<li data-start=\"2017\" data-end=\"2100\">\n<p data-start=\"2019\" data-end=\"2100\">Disclose them fully and accurately during the application and onboarding process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2101\" data-end=\"2173\">\n<p data-start=\"2103\" data-end=\"2173\">Complete the <strong data-start=\"2116\" data-end=\"2154\">ARRT Ethics Review Pre-Application<\/strong> prior to applying.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2292\">\n<p data-start=\"2176\" data-end=\"2292\">Be aware that clinical sites\u2019 standards may be <strong data-start=\"2223\" data-end=\"2247\">stricter than ARRT\u2019s<\/strong>, and their decisions are <strong data-start=\"2273\" data-end=\"2291\">non-negotiable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2294\" data-end=\"2297\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"2299\" data-end=\"2605\">This policy is in place to uphold the legal and ethical standards of the radiologic profession and to protect the integrity of patient care within our partnered institutions.
