Some of the major employers in the state include the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the California Energy Commission, and the US Forest Service.<\/p>\n<p>In the US, natural resources careers can be found in both the public and private sectors. The federal government is a major employer in natural resources, with agencies such as the National Park Service, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Bureau of Land Management offering a wide range of career opportunities.
