All Veterinary Technology Students are required to purchase at least two sets of navy blue uniform scrubs. These scrubs are to be worn to EVERY vet tech class as well as at any off-campus veterinary work opportunity.
In addition all Veterinary Technology Students are to purchase the appropriate name-badge to be worn to every vet tech class AND to any off- campus work opportunity.
The name badge must be purchased from Yuba College using the form given to all students at the time of the Summer Orientation for new students.

Shoes should be of good quality, completely enclose the feet and be washable (i.e.: tennis shoes).
All students will need to buy the Essentials Skills List Book; Veterinary Technology Textbooks will be available for purchase through the Yuba College bookstore.
Other: Please read the Veterinary Technology Program Handbook located on this website. Please ensure the Vet Tech office has on file a current, signed copy of both the General Waiver and the Rabies Waiver found at the end of the Handbook. Each student must sign these waivers once they are admitted to the Program.
