The students attending this Program have a unique opportunity to house large animals on campus. The animals we have depend on care and feeding 365 days a year. A schedule is created and Vet Tech students are required to complete farm care shifts for the duration of their time in the Program. Students will be required to spend 2 – 6 hours every week to two weeks during assigned dates and times in the care of the Yuba College Veterinary Technology farm and clinic animals. Time will include weekends and holidays as well as semester breaks, including summer break.
