Dr. Kyle Mathis has worked for 22 years in the veterinary profession: 14 as a veterinarian, and 8 as a veterinary assistant, receptionist, and dog washer. A 2003 graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mathis has treated tens of thousands of dogs, cats, cows, goats, pigs, sheep, rabbits, rats, the occasional horse, and one camel.
He is grateful for the many amazing veterinary technicians he has worked alongside these last 22 years, and considers it a great honor and responsibility to help train the next generation.
A native of Sacramento, he currently resides in south Sutter County with his wife, children, dog, and chickens. Dr. Mathis is the Yuba College Veterinary Technology Program Director.
