As well as being adjunct faculty for the Veterinary Technology Program here at Yuba College, Nikki also works as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Nikki previously worked at UC Davis in the Companion Avian Exotic Pet Department (CAPE) where Nikki got to work with her favorite types of animals: birds, reptiles, amphibians, exotic small mammals, zoo animals, aquatic species, and wildlife. She finds this is a very exciting field within veterinary medicine and she really enjoys teaching students and getting them excited about it in Exotic and Wildlife Medicine course.
