Must have obtained supervisory position through current agency to be eligible to attend. No clearances required.
This is a hybrid course, meaning that students are welcome to attend in-person or via zoom. Please reach out to the public safety office for more information.
Fall 2026 Course Dates: September 14, 2026 through September 25, 2026 (Minimum enrollment of 15 required for course to go forward.)

Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm, 30-minute lunch breaks

Course Fees:
- 4.0 units @ $46.00/unit (CA Resident) + $10.00 Student Service Fee
- 100% attendance required
- Bring laptop/USB memory stick, limited computers available for loan
- Students will be expected to dress business casual or department uniform during class
- All documents and assignments will be accessed by using Canvas; access available upon enrollment: https://yccd.instructure.com/login/ldap
- Students must have access to Microsoft Word or a similar program to complete assignments in the online Canvas classroom
- Students must ensure they have access to a reliable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to support both Zoom and the Canvas classroom
