ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE DEGREE

This degree allows the student to take courses that will prepare them for possible majors within the fields of science, including the allied health fields, nursing preparation, health science, related fields, pre-med and more.

 Students who complete this program should be able to:

1. Analyze data effectively using current technology.
2. Communicate scientific ideas and principles clearly and effectively.
3. Analyze and apply fundamental mathematical, physical, and
chemical concepts and techniques to scientific issues.
4. Apply fundamental concepts and techniques.

REQUIRED COURSES AND UNITS

Complete a minimum of 18 units from at least three different departments below (for example ASTRO, GEOL, and STAT). At least one course must be Mathematics or Statistics.
