The laws established in the California Veterinary Practice Act govern the behavior of a Registered Veterinary Technician; consequently, the students of the Yuba College Veterinary Technology Program will be bound by those same laws.
In order to provide a safe and productive learning environment and to establish behavior patterns that ensure future success in this career, all entering students will submit for a background check and drug screening through Verify Students. The cost to the prospective student is $95.
Drug testing may be conducted, randomly throughout the two-year curriculum.
