🚗 Clinical Placement & Scheduling Expectations

Clinical education is a required component of the Radiologic Technology Program and varies by semester. Students must be available for assignment to clinical rotations scheduled between 5:00 AM and 12:00 AM, including weekends, as determined by program and site needs.

Clinical sites are located within approximately a 125-mile radius of Yuba College, including locations ranging from the greater Sacramento area to Redding. While the program makes reasonable efforts to consider a student’s geographic location, placement is not guaranteed based on proximity, and travel is an expected requirement of participation in the program.

Students should be prepared for the possibility of extended commute times throughout the duration of the program. A signed acknowledgment of these requirements will be required upon program entry.
