On May 24, 2024, Yuba College celebrated its 96th Commencement Ceremony in the Athletic Complex. The event was enhanced with various stations offering glam services, snacks, group photo opportunities, and a new check-in process. The gym provided ample space for graduates to relax and stay cool, reflecting just one of the many updates made to our ceremony. Private security hired by the Yuba County Sheriff ensured the safety of the stadium and parking lots without any incidents. Approximately 350 graduates proudly walked the stage, cheered on by nearly 3000 friends and family members in the stands. Over 50 Yuba College staff members volunteered their time and effort to organize one of our most successful commencement ceremonies to date. The ceremony concluded beautifully with sparklers and fog machines against the backdrop of a picturesque purple and pink sunset.
