AP Tests – Advanced Placement or AP tests are college-level exams on specific subjects and are administered in May upon the completion of an AP course taken at a student’s high school. At many colleges and universities, a high enough score will earn the student college credit. Applicable credits will be found in the college catalog.

CLEP/DSST – CollegeBoard (CLEP) and Prometric (DSST) offer tests in a wide range of subjects that you can get credits that will apply towards your degree. CollegeBoard has partnered with ModernStates.com where you can enroll in a free CLEP course. Complete the course and you can register for a free CLEP exam ($95 value).  Send your scores to a college of your choice to get your college credits for the applicable course (contact your college to find out what CLEP exams they accept).
