What lead you to the Automotive Technology Program?
I came to Yuba College because the college is local and convenient. When I began my college career, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do and started off in the music department. During that time I was really interested in classic cars and that’s what led me to the Automotive Technology program. Once I began taking classes I found I really enjoyed it. All the automotive faculty helped inspire me – Phillip, Don, Mike and Dan were all very helpful and taught me a lot.
What were you doing before coming to Yuba College?
I began Yuba College right after high school, at that time I was working miscellaneous entry-level jobs.
What advice do you have for current or prospective students?
It doesn’t matter what path you choose. Remember to stay focused, give 110% and do what you love. Don’t miss an opportunity to learn and improve.
