Student of the Year
Each year the history department honors a graduating sophomore who has demonstrated excellence as a student of history at Yuba College. Students must be in good academic standing, eligible for graduation or transfer, and be a history major. Recipients are provided with a plaque at the annual Awards Ceremony in May.
History of Math Writing Contest
The math department at Yuba College conducts an annual writing contest on the history of math. Submission must be 5-8 pages in length and be based on library research. Click here for more information.
