Welcome to EOPS/CARE/NextUp and CalWORKs Distance Counseling

The EOPS/CARE/NextUp and CalWORKs Programs offer Distance Counseling to current and prospective students to provide the opportunity to remotely connect with a counselor for guidance with non-urgent matters pertaining to academic and/or career planning.

Available Monday-Thursday  8:00 AM-6:00 PM

Friday  8:00 AM-4:00 PM

When requesting a counseling appointment via email, students should be sure to include:

  • Name
  • Student ID number
  • Program of study (Major)
  • An attached copy of unofficial college transcripts (if applicable)
  • Specific questions
  • If you would prefer a phone appointment instead of an email response, please indicate that in the email.
