Omar Raya has quickly made a name for himself as one of Yuba College’s most dynamic and reliable midfielders. A product of Wheatland High School, Raya dominated during his senior season, recording an impressive 23 goals and 19 assists while leading his team with both skill and consistency. His development was further shaped by high-level competition with Placer ECNL, where he refined his technical ability, vision, and overall soccer IQ.

Transitioning to the collegiate game, Raya continued his strong form in his freshman year at Yuba College. He finished the season with 8 goals and 3 assists, earning First Team All–Bay Valley Conference honors—a testament to his impact on the pitch and his importance to the program.

Driven both academically and athletically, Raya is pursuing his Associate of Arts degree at Yuba majoring in Biology and pursue a career in Radiology. He plans to transfer to a four-year university to continue his education and soccer career. With his work ethic, creativity in midfield, and proven record of performance, Omar Raya is poised for an exciting future at the next level.
