Are you interested becoming a Yuba College Tutor?

We work around your class schedule, making it one of the most convenient jobs for Yuba College students. Our tutors typically work between 2-20 hours a week, depending on their availability and the center’s need. Pay starts at $16.00 an hour.

To become a Yuba College tutor, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  2. Pass the course(s) to be tutored with an A or B
  3. Be enrolled in at least 6 units within the Yuba Community College District
  4. Complete a one-unit tutor training course
  5. Be committed to student success and equity

If you believe that you can and will meet the requirements above by the beginning of next semester, please complete our ONLINE TUTOR APPLICATION.
