The overarching goal of the Yuba College Student Equity Plan is to provide access to all students who want to engage in completing college level courses including support for students in Basic Skills and ESL as they work towards completing their degree and certificates and then look to join the workforce or transfer to a four-year university.
Research was conducted by the Yuba College Research Analyst through the Fall of 2016. In looking at the five success indicators that were identified by the state Yuba College was able to determine populations with in the college that were experiencing disproportionate impact. In some cases, populations were affected in more than one area. A summary of the information is contained in the chart below.
