Use this checklist when reviewing a program proposal or revision. This page is an accessible web version of the checklist.

Basic program information
- Read the rationale.
- Confirm the program goal is appropriate.
Feasibility
- Relationship to the mission of the College: Does the record reflect the College mission?
- Place of the program: Has the faculty member explained how this program fits within other programs offered by the department and College?
- Similar programs: Has the faculty member explained how this program fits within the service area or region?
Description
- Does the catalog description clearly, in student-friendly language, explain what students will do and learn in the program?
- Program goals and objectives: Has the faculty member explained the goals and objectives of the program?
Note: These are not the PSLOs. This section should be similar to Course Objectives on the COR.
Course blocks
- Select the Reports icon and view the program summary. Confirm that the program structure makes sense, course blocks are labeled clearly,
and totals/units calculate correctly.
