Commencement Publications: Will be made available at our ceremony for the Class of 2025. We will be posting these programs at https://yc.yccd.edu/campus/graduation/. Names published for the degrees and certificate of achievement/training for the Class of 2025 only include those who petitioned to graduate by our April 15, 2025, deadline.
FOOD: Due to the length of the ceremony and the anticipated number of guests, beverages and snacks can be purchased from the stadium concession stand, and additional snacks from several food vendors including Rosie’s Snow Biz which will be available outside the gates next to the tennis courts.
WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA: Updated Commencement information will be posted on our Yuba College Graduation Website https://yc.yccd.edu/campus/graduation. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram #ycproud on the day of the event, as students will be asked to share their day with us.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO: Family members and friends are welcome to take pictures of candidates before or after commencement. Guests will be permitted to take photos from their seats only during commencement. Only graduates and event staff are allowed in the athletic surface areas. Chris Kaufman Photography will be taking individual photographs of each graduate after they walk off the stage. Graduating students will receive detailed information on how to access photos.
We have numerous photographers and videographers capturing all the memorable moments of our graduating class of 2025 throughout our venue. As our guest, by entering our venue, you grant our producers of the footage the right to use this footage of your likeness and voice.
LIVE STREAM/RECORDING: Each graduating student who RSVP’d to participate in our Commencement Ceremony will receive ONE Zoom Link to share with ONE household for viewing the ceremony live from the comfort of their home. This ceremony will also be recorded and made available for viewing a few days after the ceremony. Please visit https://yc.yccd.edu/campus/graduation to view the recording.
GIFTS FOR GRADUATES: Our Yuba College Bookstore will be selling Yuba College gear, and The Commencement Group will be selling bouquets, leis, and memorabilia at the stadium entrance.
SAFETY: Although Yuba College does not anticipate any security problems during commencement, we take extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and guests at our events. It is encouraged that you don’t leave any personal belongings in your vehicle.
