Yuba College is excited to honor your loved one during our 98th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at our Outdoor Athletic Stadium. This is a ticketed event, and all guests will be required to have a valid ticket upon entrance to the Commencement ceremony. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and staff will be prepared to check tickets prior to entrance. Seating will be open inside the stadium, and guests may take the seat of their choice. The ceremony will begin on time – we have over 350 graduates participating in this year’s ceremony, and we anticipate that the ceremony will last over two hours. The ceremony will be live-streamed and translated into four languages (Spanish, Punjabi, Hmong and Farsi) through Zoom – access all the different languages on the day of: Yuba Zoom Link – Access to Different Languages or on the Yuba College Graduation website:
https://yc.yccd.edu/campus/graduation/instructions/
Commencement Publications: Printed programs will be made available at the ceremony for the Class of 2026, and the program will also be posted on the Yuba College Graduation website on the day of Commencement. Names published for degrees and certificates of achievement will include those who petitioned to graduate by the deadline of April 15, 2026.
Food and Beverages: Due to the length of the ceremony and the anticipated number of guests, beverages and snacks will be available for purchase from the stadium concession stand.
Website and Social Media: Updated Commencement information will be posted on the Yuba College Graduation website (above). You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram (#ycproud) that day, as graduates are invited to share their day with us.
Photography and Video: Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to take pictures of their graduates, but please remain in your seats during the ceremony – only graduates and event staff are permitted on the athletic surface areas. A professional photographer and videographer will be taking individual photographs of each graduate as they walk off the stage. Graduating students will receive information on how to access these photos. After the ceremony, the graduates will meet up with friends and family outside of the stadium gates. Our beautiful campus has many wonderful backgrounds for photos. Please be sure to take advantage of these spots before or after the ceremony.
Numerous photographers and videographers will be placed throughout the venue, capturing the memorable moments of our graduating class of 2026. As a guest at our venue, you grant our producers upon your entrance the right to use any footage obtained on the premises of your likeness and/or your voice.
Live Stream/Recording: Each graduating student who RSVP’d to participate in our Commencement Ceremony will receive ONE Zoom link to share with ONE household for viewing the ceremony live from the comfort of their home.
Gifts for Graduates: The Yuba College Bookstore and The Commencement Group will be on site selling Yuba College gear, bouquets, leis, and memorabilia.
