Mission Statement
The mission of the CSC is to create an open atmosphere of learning for Yuba College students by providing appropriate resources and assistance designed to meet their academic needs.
A part of our mission is to work closely with our faculty as well as other student support services on campus. The CSC offers assistance in cooperation and accordance with the guidelines and objectives recommended by each academic department.
Our ultimate goal is to support students in becoming independent learners by providing opportunities for reinforcement of course concepts and skills as well as improving learning efficiency and effectiveness. We are committed to assisting students in developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their coursework and in their academic, professional, and personal pursuits.
